This web-site was instituted by the Officers of the Goodyear Police Department to help the citizens of Goodyear and the surrounding West Valley address or comment upon policing issues or concerns that they may have. It is the hope of the Officers volunteering their time to develop, maintain and create this web-site that community-oriented policing will be enhanced and an open line of communication will be established between the officers of the department and the community.
This web site will allow site visitors to ask questions and post comments and concerns about their community and neighborhoods. Police Officer will volunteer their time to answer questions and help organize events to include speed enforcement, neighborhood crime watches, and enhanced patrol. Visitors can also submit their experiences with Police Officers, both good and bad, which will provide an outlet or a direct line of communication between officers and the citizens of our city. We want to hear your questions and comments!
Goodyear Police Officers will also provide safety tips and inform the public of upcoming community activities that increase safety awareness and educate the public on ways to help prevent and report crime and reduce the chances of becoming a victim of crime.
